Job Description of Journeyman Lineworker
Journeyman Lineworker installs, removes, maintains, repairs
and operates overhead and underground distribution system.
Required to periodically be on standby to take emergency calls.
High school diploma or GED required.
Journeyman Lineworker must have completed an approved Lineworker
apprenticeship program and have the ability to learn what
is needed to acceptably perform the essential duties and responsibilities
of the position including but not limited to computer skills.
Journeyman Lineworker must have sufficient physical health,
line construction knowledge and Class "A" CDL. Knowledge
of RUS specs desirable.
