Job Description: Operations Manager

Operations Manager Requires a minimum of 5 years related experience with an electric utility, with 3 years minimum supervisory experience. Requires expertise in transmission and distribution system planning, specifications and construction for both overhead and underground power line. Development for materials and construction.

Operations Manager must have knowledge of distribution system design, including substations and the NESC. Prefer knowledge of RUS specifications. Must have computer skills including MS Word, Excel, and Windows XP/2000 and distribution analysis software; prefer MS Power Point. Must have significant verbal and written communication skills including the composition and formatting of business correspondence, excellent presentation skills and organizational skills. Salary is based on qualifications, and includes an excellent benefit package. Technical skills and computer proficiency testing is required to be Operations Manager.
